FAQs

Is my car eligible to compete?

If it’s a BMW, it’s more than likely eligible! There are some caveats though, so please be sure to check out the class regulations here.

How long is a typical season?

We usually kick off in September, with a pre-season track day in August. The season can run as late as May.

How do I get a race number allocated?

Email us with your race number request, and we’ll see what’s available. We have three grids, so we try not to duplicate numbers.

What circuits do we visit?

Hampton Downs Motorsport Park, Taupō International Motorsport Park, and Manfeild Circuit Chris Amon.

What safety gear do I need?

Helmet, Forward Head Restraint, gloves, fire-retardant underwear, race suit, and boots to start with. For full information contact MotorSport NZ.

I have other questions, who can I ask?

Flick us an email via [email protected], or use the contact form on our Contact Us page.
